Back to Jurassic Park for JP4?
The director of the in pre-production situated Jurassic Park 4, sent out a tweet teasing a long hoped for return to Isla Nublar. This picture was taken whilst location scouting for the movie, which means that you might actually get to see this particular place in the movie itself.
Isla Nublar, meaning “Clouded Island”, is a fictional island about 120 miles off the west coast of Costa Rica. As part of a cluster of equally fictional islands, Nublar is 87 miles away from the island featured in the sequels to the original Jurassic Park: Isla Sorna. Though Isla Nublar will be a sight for sore eyes for many fans, not everything will ring quite as familiar as we remember.
- "I can’t actually tell you who that will be…But you’ll want to keep the lights on after you see this movie." - Jack Horner about a new Dinosaur who will be the big villain, much like the Tyrannosaurus Rex and the Spinosaurus.
Jurassic Park IV will be released on June 13 2014 with directing credits going to Colin Trevorrow. The movie will be written by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver, who wrote and co-produced Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Steven Spielberg will act as Executive Producer.
